English Bay, Vancouver

I don't know why I've never really ventured around this part of town much before. Today was a perfect day to hit the beach, and it was nice since there wasn't too many people there. After seeing how gorgeous Greek beaches were, I was afraid that the ones back in Vancouver would be comparatively underwhelming. English Bay proved to be a pleasant surprise: it's entirely different but beautiful nevertheless in its own way. It's not postcard perfect like Greece, but it's home.

Having stupidly forgotten my DSLR back in NYC (don't worry in safe hands), but it means I had to revert back to my sister's point-and-shooter. While I miss the amount of detail and vibrancy of the DSLR photos, I forgot just how handy dandy the little ones can be!
