How do you know you've got real friends? When they have no qualms about showing their beautiful faces on their friend's blog, despite not knowing what the blog is actually about. Am I the only one who hasn't shown anyone (except to Tweedledee) their blog? I'm actually quite secretive about this whole affair and don't like showing anyone this. It's as if too many people know about this, it will spoil this secret little endeavor of mine.
Anyhow I neglected to mention that this particular school tradition is not just a mere random day off, but a surprise day off. The president chooses a nice sunny day in late fall and rings the bell to signify to the entire campus that they have the day off. It's almost always before fall break so usually you've got the campus buzzing about which day it will be on during the week leading up to fall break. It's rather hilarious that some are so adamant and fiercely hopeful about it for certain days, then to see them utterly crushed when it doesn't come. I for one had my econ midterm pushed till Friday and couldn't be happier when it came on Wednesday. I have a feeling I am going to enjoy fall this year.
