Living the Lo-Fi Life

 Top, J. Crew. Coat, Club Monaco. Pants, Zara || Two Kinds of Happiness - The Strokes
Fall has yet to settle in in my part of Massachusetts–the weather seems to be alternating between extreme humidity, fog and light drizzles here and there. The leaves have yet to change colour even though technically fall has already started on the 23th. The variety of temperatures throughout a single day coupled with the strange weather has been proving to be quite an (interesting) challenge to dressing. I'm so glad that I picked this lightweight coat up during a spring sale at Club Monaco this year and it's been nothing but godsend so far as an in-between transition type piece of clothing. Due to the subtle neutral colours and accents of the coat, it fits seamlessly into my existing wardrobe. What are your favourite transition pieces this fall?
I apologize for taking this with the Macbook camera since I forgot to charge my point-and-shooter; this wasn't a stylistic choice as one made out of necessity :P

Haha welcome to the photo booth life! My use is more out of *laziness* than not having a camera, but I think there's a bit of romance and imagination involved when can't so clearly see the details.

Also, really enojying your jacket with the striped shirt. It seems that all my clothes are pretty geared towards fall, but I really (really) like a green cotton jacket I bought over the summer for the transitional weather.

@lin, thanks :D
@Sabo, TY.
@Jada, the weather was AMAZING the first week back at school (minus the first school day of rain but w/e) so I'm just really looking forward to it being FALL.
@Austere, Yes I'm gonna join the club hehe. Is your Macbook a new one? My sister has my 2010 new (white) one grr so I'm stick with her 2008 one which is not bad but the webcam lacks in quality. Glad to know that you're prepared for the upcoming weather! Can't wait to see you wear that jacket in a future outfit post. :)

I adore your coat. I fall hard for coats:) You look lovely. It is such a challenge dressing for this weather. It has been sticky and humid (almost tropical) in NYC so I haven't even started to wear fall clothes.

But now that you've done it, I kind of like the lo-fi approach. Do it yourself Instagram, only better.
